Extra Duty Stipends are awarded to employees who oversee, direct or contribute to an activity outside of the regular workday. These activities include HUUSD sanctioned activities, or extension of existing HUUSD activities or co-curricular programs that culminate in a public performance (product) or a local, state, or national competition.

POSITION OBJECTIVES:
Creates the lighting concept and equipment requirements for a production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lighting Designers work most closely with the Director, Set builder, and costumer, to create and implement a lighting scheme that communicates the feeling of a production and guides the audiences attention in specific ways throughout a performance.
