POSITION SUMMARY:
Harvey Public School District is seeking a compassionate and dependable Paraprofessional to support students and teachers in the classroom. The successful candidate will assist in providing instructional and behavioral support to students, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment. This position may include working one-on-one with students, assisting with small groups, and supporting students with special needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist certified teachers in delivering instructional activities
- Provide support to individual students and/or small groups
- Supervise students in various settings
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow directions
- Demonstrated patience, reliability, and a genuine interest in student success
