The position works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality teams to ensure that new technologies are effectively integrated into manufacturing processes.
In This Role, You Will
- Support projects focused on improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce cycle times, and increase machine efficiency.
- Help develop, test, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation.
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to test new products and improve existing processes.
- Create and update work instructions and documentation to support manufacturing operations.
- Train and support employees on new equipment, processes, and technology.
- CNC grinding and programming experience required (5 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of cutting tool manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
- Interest in learning new manufacturing technologies and improving existing processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
- CAD / CAM software experience, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, Catia, etc.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methods.
- Experience with automation, manufacturing software, or production monitoring.
- Project management or technical documentation experience.
