Server Administrator

We are looking for a skilled Server Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in server administration, VMware environments, Windows Server troubleshooting, security remediation, and application support.

🔹 Key Skills & Qualifications

• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities and supporting security incident response.
• Hands-on experience supporting servers in a VMware virtualized environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows Server operating systems.
• Experience with Windows SQL Server clusters.
• Ability to support .NET applications hosted on IIS.
• Experience with security tools such as Tenable for vulnerability scanning and remediation.
• Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills to work effectively across multiple technical teams.
• Project management, technical leadership, and task coordination skills.
• Ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through resolution.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and travel occasionally for field server support.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Provide server and application support, ensuring system availability and stability.
• Maintain server security and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Review Tenable security scan results and coordinate vulnerability remediation.
• Support security incident response and related investigations.
• Manage certificate processing and renewals.
• Build, maintain, and support automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide field server support, including occasional travel.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support records.
• Monitor server infrastructure and respond to system alerts.
• Participate in technical projects and coordinate activities across multiple teams.
• Participate in the server on-call rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
