Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
This is a highly technical leadership role that is required to be co-located with MTES, PVS organization and Proving Grounds. Leading close collaboration efforts with various teams and participating in testing at Proving Grounds are critical.
Position plays a key role in improving R&E efficiency for Client organization by driving synergies between base machine development and Autonomous development. Will work on multiple NPI programs with multi-year outlook to develop efficient validation plans.
A Senior Test Engineer Retiree or a Senior Performance/Controls/VPD Engineer Retiree would be a good fit for the role.

Typical task breakdown:
- Work with various L6-L8 teams to understand configuration variations and developing detailed strategic test plans to minimize repetition of tests on multiple machines as well as repetition of tests
- Understand the current TPG testing/tuning activities and develop clear requirements for VPD, SIL and HIL with the objective to reduce/eliminate the TPG testing/tuning activities for multiple in-progress/future programs
- Participate in validation workshops for AHS as well as base machine programs and provide data collection requirements for model correlation
- Support controls and software validation activities for various programs as needed
Interaction with team:
- working with other business units within Client and internal teams.

Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: Minimum 5-7 years in this capacity is a must
- Previous Client experience is highly preferred
- Degree requirement: Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Engineering, Physics, CS or related field
