Inventory Specialist

The Client is seeking motivated candidates for an Entry-Level Asset/Inventory Management position within the Branch. This role plays a key part in supporting the Client's technology lifecycle by ensuring accurate asset tracking and coordinating electronic escarp activities throughout Kentucky.

Position Overview

This entry-level role is responsible for assisting with the full lifecycle of technology assets, including inventory management, documentation, and logistical coordination. A key function of the position involves traveling across the Kentucky to pick up, transport, and help process electronic e-scrap items from various partner and distribution points.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support asset lifecycle tracking and documentation
• Travel statewide to coordinate and collect electronic e-scrap items
• Assist with organizing, staging, and processing surplus and scrap equipment
• Provide logistical support for incoming and outgoing hardware
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with AMB operational procedures
• Collaborate with the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) team in daily operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong organizational and logistical skills
• Good communication abilities
• Basic understanding of IT hardware and peripheral components
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Valid driver’s license
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Comfort operating larger vehicles (e.g., box truck) is a plus
• Forklift certification preferred but not required

This is an onsite role that involves hands-on work with physical inventory, technology hardware, and statewide e-scrap operations. The position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in IT asset management, logistics, and statewide operational support.
