Harvey Nash USA has been engaged to find a talented Sr. Finance Business Partner for one of the largest Financial Services Client.
Job Title: Sr. Finance Business Partner
Location: Hybrid - Foster City, CA
Duration: 8 Months (With possible extensions)
Must have skills:
Strong Excel (formulas, modeling, large data analysis)
Financial Business Partner (FBP) experience
Variance analysis, headcount analysis, dollar analysis
Education/Experience
o Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
o 7 years financial and/or accounting experience required
Skills
o Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking (Required)
o Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required)
o Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses (Typically required)
o Knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data (Typically required)
o Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting (Required)
o Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
o Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports
o Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions
o Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks
o Present oral and written reports on general economic trends, individual corporations and entire industries
Must have skills
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related financial discipline
Experience:
7 years in finance and/or accounting (senior-level)
