SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER — PART-TIME
Harvey Media LLC
About Us
Harvey Media LLC is a purpose-driven media and production company specializing in turning mission-aligned brands into blockbuster impact. We work at the intersection of videography, content creation, and strategic marketing—partnering with nonprofits, social impact organizations, and purpose-forward brands who have something real to say. Our tagline says it all: From Heartbeat to Headline.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to own account strategy and execution for our growing roster of mission-driven clients. You’ll manage multi-platform presence (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube), develop strategic content calendars, and bring brands to life through original content creation—from captions that land to short-form videos that convert.
This is a part-time position (15–20 hours/week) reporting directly to the founder. It’s work that matters for brands doing real work in the world.
Responsibilities
Account Management: Manage social accounts across all major platforms for multiple clients. Develop and execute monthly content strategies aligned with each brand’s goals and voice.
Content Calendar Development: Build strategic, data-informed content calendars. Plan the narrative arc. Know what’s going out when and why.
Content Creation: Write engaging captions and copy. Edit short-form social-first video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts). Film behind-the-scenes content that shows the real work clients are doing.
Collaboration: Work with our creative and production teams. Understand the story we’re telling and how social serves the bigger campaign.
Reporting & Optimization: Track performance metrics. Communicate results and insights to clients and our team. Iterate based on what’s working.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience managing social accounts for multiple clients or brands (minimum 2 years).
Expertise across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. You know the platform differences and can optimize content accordingly.
Strong copywriting skills. You can write a caption that stops the scroll and a post that drives action.
Proficiency in short-form video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar). Social-first editing is non-negotiable.
Comfort filming behind-the-scenes and authentic content. You understand that raw, real footage often outperforms polished.
Experience with purpose-driven, nonprofit, or mission-aligned brands is a plus—you understand messaging for impact.
Professional video filming experience is a plus.
Graphic design capability (Canva or Adobe) is a plus.
A strategic mindset. You don’t just post—you think about narrative, audience, and conversion. You ask why.
Collaborative spirit. You work well with creatives, producers, and clients. You’re easy to work with.
