We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in setting the tone for their visit. Your primary responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the restaurant. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and maintain an accurate waitlist during busy periods.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing inquiries and accommodating special requests.
- Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and providing information about the restaurant.
- Support food service operations by communicating effectively with kitchen staff regarding guest needs.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations to enhance overall dining experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
-note: looking for a weekend host/hostess-friday and Saturday with opportunity to train/learn to pick up shifts in other positions /with more hours.
