Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a closely related field
• Possess a valid state teaching license
• Minimum of 3 years classroom experience and diversity experience desirable
• Current knowledge of Ohio Academic Content Standards
• Christian, positive, effective oral and written communication skills
• Duties and responsibilities
• Presenting consistent lessons following prescribed scope and sequence, as scheduled by the administrator
• Collaborate with team teacher on curriculum design and development
• Employ a variety of instructional aids to teach to the whole child: spiritually, mentally, and physically
• Integrate technology into lesson plans
• Maintain regular and accurate attendance and grades in RenWeb; a parent database which informs parents of student progress
• Possess effective interpersonal skills and administrative skills; problem solver
• Maintain personal and professional development as a licensed educator
• Attend all school staff meetings and professional development sessions
