We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team for the holiday season starting in September through October. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting seasonal agricultural goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload goods using equipment such as pallet jacks and manual lifting techniques.
- Deliver products to designated locations in a timely manner while providing exceptional customer service.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for tracking purposes.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required by the job.
- Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Experience using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
