Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site internship role based in Charlotte, NC, for an Event Assistant Intern at Harvest Events. Responsibilities include assisting in the. We’re looking for energetic, people‑focused Fundraisers to represent our non profits at kiosks in high foot‑traffic locations such as shopping centers, events, and public spaces.
As an event assistant intern, you’ll be the face of our cause—starting meaningful conversations with members of the public, inspiring them to become regular donors, and helping us raise vital funds to support our current non profit that supports international animal conservation and animal protection.
This role is perfect for someone who loves talking to people, enjoys being on their feet, and wants their work to have a real impact.
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills for building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and vendors.
- Basic Event Planning and Event Management knowledge to support the coordination and execution of various events.
- Excellent Organization Skills to manage multiple tasks, maintain schedules, and ensure all event details are attended to efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in using office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) is an asset.
- Interest in or experience with non-profit organizations or event coordination is beneficial.
