Schedule:
- Sundays, 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- Occasional Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM (as needed)
- Occasional special events (Saturday or Sunday, based on your availability)
About the Role:
Harvest Church Nursery is looking for a caring and dependable Toddler Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with young children and can create a warm, safe, and engaging environment during our church services.
You’ll be the lead teacher in the toddler room, guiding a group of 5–8 little ones through a fun and structured morning that includes indoor playground time, a short Bible video, snack, and a simple craft (all materials and plans provided!).
What You’ll Do:
- Welcome children and parents with warmth and professionalism
- Supervise and engage toddlers during playtime, lessons, snack, and craft
- Comfort and redirect fussy or shy children at drop-off
- Perform diaper changes and assist with basic hygiene needs
- Maintain a safe, clean, and cheerful classroom environment
- Communicate with parents and staff as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with toddlers (nursery, daycare, or church setting preferred, but not necessary)
- Dependable, kind, and patient
- Confident managing a small group of active 2-year-olds
- Must pass a background check
