What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cabinet Maker / Woodshop Worker — Solid Wood Department position at Harvest Cabinetry and Millworks?
Harvest Cabinetry and Millworks is a custom cabinet manufacturer in Central Pennsylvania, and we're growing. We're looking for motivated individuals — with or without experience — to join our solid wood department building cabinet doors, face frames, and milling solid stock.
What you'll do:
- Mill rough lumber to size — straight-line rip, plane, glue up panels
- Build cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and panels
- Cut, assemble, and sand face frames to spec
- Work off cut lists and shop drawings, holding tight tolerances
- Keep your machines set up, sharp, and running clean
What you need:
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and confidently
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, whatever your experience level
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Comfortable on your feet all day and lifting up to 50 lbs
A bonus, but not required:
- Experience running woodworking machinery — shaper, table saw, planer, jointer, widebelt, or similar
- Ability to read shop drawings and prints
Details:
- Full time, Monday–Friday
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | 30-minute lunch | two paid 15-minute breaks
