Job Summary
The Director of Football Operations directs the daily operations of a Division I Football Program, including management of the program budget as well as working directly with numerous areas within the Department of Athletics, such as marketing, ticket office, athletic communications, scheduling and travel, finance, facilities and operations, development and compliance.
Position Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Developing and implementing plans and strategies affecting all aspects of running the Football Program.
- Managing and overseeing the annual budget for the program.
- Developing the schedule of Football facilities and facilities used by the Football program.
- Liaising with the equipment room staff and Harvard Athletics Sports Medicine.
- Managing in-season and operational travel for the Football Team.
- Managing all aspects of video filming and production for the Football Program.
- Lead technician for CoachComm on Football gamedays.
- Acting as the primary contact for outside vendors for the Harvard Football Program.
- Managing awards program for student-athletes.
- Managing day-to-day work of the Football administrative coordinator and student workers.
