As the Senior Nutanix Migration engineer, you will be a key member and lead involved in the migration from VMWare to Nutanix.Responsibilities include:Perform platform migrationsProvide support of virtual infrastructure through migration processes.Provide platform support to internal customersCollaborate with teams on solutionsPerform daily operations tasks and collaborate with vendorDocumentation of work using internal systemsRequired Job Qualifications:Bachelor degree and 2 years in Information Technology OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 4 year Information Technology experience OR 6 years Information Technology experience.Knowledge of ITIL v3 frameworkKnowledge of ITSM systemsKnowledge of all Infrastructure technologies, including monitoring and event management technologies Experience with UC/Collaboration and Executive Support, including mobile devices (laptops, tablets, handheld)Experience with Broadcom VCF SAN and Nutanix AHV hyperconverged platforms. Experience with Nutanix Move toolExperience with Automation, CICD, Scripting, Storage, Middleware, including Server, OS, Virtualization, and Container technologies.Experience with Network, Voice, Call Center and Network (data and voice) technologies Infrastructure hardware support and engineering experience of Dell, HP, or Cisco technologies.Incident management.Problem Management / RCA.Adaptability and ability to introduce / manage change.Drive conflict management in high pressure situations.Performance / metrics-driven decision making.ITSM/CMDB application experience with ServiceNow.
