Our singular mission is to help ensure Harvard University has the financial resources to maintain and expand its leadership in teaching, learning, and research for future generations. The endowment is managed by a highly experienced generalist investment team whose members each take ownership of the entire portfolio, regardless of asset class. HMC's operational structure brings a wide range of expertise to our portfolio management. These functions include risk management, legal, compliance, finance and accounting, human resources and administrative services as well as information technology to develop and implement the systems necessary to support our investment activities.

Serving as both project managers and business analysts, the team drives projects from initial concept through implementation, helping define business needs, translate them into clear requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage timelines and risks, and support successful execution. The team focuses on delivering solutions that improve processes, enhance operational efficiency, and align technology investments with organizational priorities.

Summary Of Responsibilities
- Assist in business process analysis including documentation.
- Work on large-scale data review including reconciliation.
- Work closely with various departments to gather information and ensure accurate documentation.
- Assist in scripting, recording, editing, and publishing short, engaging video tutorials that promote user understanding.
- Collect and incorporate feedback from team members to improve documentation and video content.
- Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions for process documentation and communication.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Production, or a related field
- Must be a rising junior or senior with a strong academic record
- Experience producing or editing video content (portfolio or sample work is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to translate complex ideas into simple, engaging content
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Demonstrated professionalism and a strong ethical compass
- The FLSA classification for this position is non-exempt.
- HMC will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
- HMC is operating on a hybrid work model where interns are expected to be in the office in downtown Boston from Tuesday to Thursday and remote on other days.
