What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Hartwig Exhibit & Display?
Job Overview
Hartwig Exhibit & Display is a Wisconsin-based company that designs, constructs, and services custom trade show exhibits. For 100 years, we’ve built a reputation for figuring things out, building it right, and delivering on time.
This is not just a drafting role. This position is responsible for managing, coordinating, and sourcing each project from start to finish, ensuring everything is ready for production and delivery.
This role requires strong time management and the ability to handle multiple projects, along with the ability to take ownership while staying aligned with the team.
This position is responsible for preparing layouts and scaled drawings for the construction of exhibits based on renderings, sketches, sales specifications, and client-provided direction. The primary focus is to translate concepts into accurate, buildable construction drawings and support the project from initial review through production and shipping.
Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing projects; purchasing materials, hardware, electrical, and lighting components; coordinating appropriate building methods; and participating in design and production meetings as well as client and internal discussions. The individual will proactively address issues prior to production and ensure all revisions are accurately documented on final drawings.
This position works closely with our internal fabrication team and requires an understanding of how exhibits are constructed, not just designed.
CAD experience required. This position is eligible for health care benefits, time off benefits, and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.
