Help Customers Create Spaces They Love
Hartville Hardware is looking for a Sales Team Member to join our Home Décor and Fixtures department. In this role, you will help customers find the right products for their home, including lighting, vanities, closet storage, and more.
If you enjoy working with people, have an eye for design, and like staying active throughout the day, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional way
- Help customers choose products such as lighting, vanities, toilets, and storage solutions
- Ask questions to understand customer needs and provide recommendations
- Share product knowledge including features, benefits, and installation basics
- Promote products and help drive sales
- Follow up with customers when needed
- Keep the department clean, stocked, and organized
- Assist with displays and merchandising
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Interest in home improvement, décor, or design
- Strong communication and people skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to climb an 8 ft ladder and stay active throughout the day
Schedule
- Part-time (15-20 hours/week)
- Must be available evenings (until 7:00 PM)
- Must be available Saturdays
- Closed Sundays
