What are the responsibilities and job description for the Driver- Box Truck Minnesota Route position at Hartung Glass?
Description
We are looking for a Driver for our Minnesota Route.
Monday-Friday
Pay: $28.00/hr to $30.00/hr
Safely deliver product to customers in a timely manner. Hartung customers include job sites, glass houses, plumbing wholesalers, Home Depot and Lowes stores, both in-state and out-of-state.
Requirements
- Maintain a valid driver’s license (Class A or B CDL)
- Maintain an acceptable MVR and current DOT Medical card
- Meet scheduling requirements as outlined by Shipping Manager
- Pre & post trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain vehicle mileage log (electronic and paper)
- Complete paperwork correctly (shippers/return slips)
- Check and secure loads
- Operate a boom type crane as needed
- Accurately track delivery and pick-up of A-racks and slot racks
- Log in patterns and returned items
- Loads truck as needed
- Issues or obtains customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
- Able to pass DOT regulated drug/alcohol screen
- Adhere to all DOT guidelines
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to provide stellar customer service and resolve issues as need
- Great attendance and work ethic
- Other duties as assigned
