Role Description The Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift is a full-time, on-site role based in Phoenix, AZ. This position is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting machinery, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance schedules. The technician will respond to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate maintenance records, following safety protocols, and assisting with installation and setup of new equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Hands on industrial maintenance experience
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance.
- Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting, Diagnosing, and Maintenance & Repair.
- Ability to repair electrical, processors, relays, rollers, drives and mechanical systems.
- Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance and reliability-focused practices.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments, preferably glass or related industries.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, read wiring diagrams and work orders.
- Proven working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is beneficial.
- Must have ability to fabricate and repair machine guards, conveyors and pumps
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours and perform occasional overtime as required.
