Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as the Director of Support Services - Operations. Master's degree in Educational Leadership field and undergrad in Business field required. Must also be eligible for Florida Professional teacher certificate in Elem Ed or ESE. In this pivotal role, you will manage and work in at least Transportation, Food Service, Fixed Assets, Facility Maintenance, and Technology. Your energetic leadership will ensure the delivery of high-quality services, foster strong relationships with stakeholders, and promote a positive, inclusive educational environment. Responsibilities
- Transportation -Schedule routes, inspections, and repairs. Supervise drivers and prepare reports. Complete ongoing driver training in order to serve as a backup driver.
- Food Service - Order meals, prepare reports, supervise meal pickup/delivery/service. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, community partners, and regulatory agencies to enhance service quality and community integration.
- Fixed Assets - Perform Inventories and reports, schedule r&m, organize storage and disposals, urchasing assets, maximizing fixed resource allocation and insurance compliance.
- Facility - Ensure adherence to all campus safety and health regulations. Prepare reports and schedule inspections. R&M and insurance needs.
- Technology - Inventory and r&m of hardware, load software and train for its use, check for misuse, attend virtual and off campus trainings.
- Interim administrative duties when admin off campus, cross train for other roles, participate on various committees on and off campus.
- Interact with parents, staff, students, and community toward continuous improvement, engagement and satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven 10 years Admin experience in educational setting with young children (prek-grade 5) including those with disabilities and diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of local community as a long term (10 years resident) and involvement with educational or youth sports organizations.
- Strong relationship management skills and experience collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders including families, community organizations, and government agencies.
- Solid administrative background including budgeting, record keeping, compliance monitoring, and report generation.
- Ability to lead change initiatives while maintaining a positive team-oriented approach.
