Job Summary
Hartness Drywall is a family-owned drywall and metal stud framing contractor working on residential and commercial jobs across Oregon. We're hiring an experienced taper to join our crew.
What You'll Do
- Tape, mud, and finish drywall as required for texture or paint
- Work efficiently on both residential and commercial job sites
- Coordinate with the crew lead on daily scheduling and job sequencing
- Keep your work area clean and follow jobsite safety practices
- Perform drywall repairs and patchwork as needed to maintain project standards
- Assist with drywall texturing techniques such as spray, knockdown, or stippling for aesthetic effects
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper handling of tools and materials while adhering to construction workplace safety regulations
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience (1 years) in drywall installation, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing on commercial or residential projects
- Comfortable with hand and automatic taping tools (training can be provided for automatic taping tools)
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by following construction safety regulations and procedures
