🌟 Vice President, Head of Cardiovascular Medicine



I'm partnered with established Biopharma that is hiring a VP,Head of Cardiovascular Medicine to shape, lead, and execute cutting-edge cardiology clinical programs. This is a rare opportunity, reporting into the CMO, to make a defining impact on patient lives while driving innovation.


What You’ll Do


  • Lead and inspire cardiovascular clinical programs, serving as the internal and external subject matter expert (SME) for heart failure and cardiomyopathy.
  • Serve as lead study physician / medical director for at least one pivotal clinical trial, overseeing design, execution, and regulatory submission activities.
  • Develop and advise on clinical protocols, biomarkers, and imaging strategies to evaluate cardiac dysfunction and therapeutic interventions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, academic investigators, KOLs, steering committees, and Data Safety Monitoring Boards.
  • Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA, and EMA regulations
  • Represent the organization externally at scientific conferences, advisory boards, and investigator meetings, providing thought leadership in cardiovascular medicine.


What You Bring:


  • MD or DO with board certification or substantial clinical experience in cardiology, preferably in heart failure or cardiomyopathy.
  • 10 years of progressive leadership experience in cardiovascular clinical programs, ideally in biopharma or clinical development.
  • Demonstrated success leading global cardiovascular trials with experience in regulatory submissions (BLA/NDA/IND) strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of cardiomyopathy and heart failure science, translational research, and clinical trial design.
