Project Manager for Concrete Construction Company

Hartman Concrete is hiring a project manager. Hartman Concrete is a leading concrete contractor in south central PA. We have been in business for over 30 years and have an established client and vendor base. Many of our employees have been here since day 1. The majority of our work is small commercial or industrial projects as well as the occasional decorative residential project for an established customer. The majority of our work is within a one-hour drive of York, PA.

The successful candidate will be assisting field personnel after the subcontract is in place by completing

· all necessary buyout including any special materials

· forwarding all necessary information to the accounting department

· forwarding all necessary information to the field staff

· attending a project turnover meeting with management

· attending jobsite meetings

· obtaining all required shop drawings and creating and updating the associated shop drawing log

· verifying invoices

· dealing with any issues that develop on site during construction

· assisting the accounting department with verifying payroll and all other work required though project completion.

• Answer all questions from the clients in a timely manner. Attempt to answer all questions or handle any issues the same day that they occur.
• Complete monthly gross project projections on all projects.

· This individual will also assist with invoices and change order preparation in conjunction with the current management.

A successful candidate will have at least 2 years of office experience, at least basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and a general understanding of computer and general office systems. Additionally, qualified candidates must have proven judgment in dealing with confidential information and be able to manage many ongoing projects at one time. An upbeat friendly and professional attitude is a must. Appropriate construction knowledge is required and concrete experience is a huge plus. A valid Driver’s License is required.
