What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter/Designer position at Hartley Brothers Manufacturing?
Harbros MFG (Hartley Brothers Manufacturing) is seeking a Draftsman, preferably with parametric software (3D modeling) experience, to join our team. We are a well-established manufacturer of commercial millwork and cabinetry located in Mobile, AL. Along with cabinetry, we also are a Custom Designer / Manufacturer of anything a customer may need.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare customer submittal packages and production drawings utilizing 3D software
- Assist in creating and maintaining digital product library
- Work with senior Engineers in development of new products
- Work with production personnel to troubleshoot technical issues when they arise
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience utilizing parametric software (SolidWorks, Cabinet Vision, Fusion 360, etc.)
- Preferred experience in working around CNC technology
- Preferred experience in creating detailed and accurate drawings for production
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- SolidWorks experience is a plus
Pay based on experience.
