As a Visual Communications Design Specialist (Hybrid; based in Elgin, Illinois) you’ll play a key role in preparing clear and effective influential presentation communication for HARTING’s Americas field marketing and local executive leadership. The position is responsible for developing visual presentations (primarily via PowerPoint) that communicate the company’s strategic direction to a variety of audiences: board, executive, employee, and external.
HARTING aims to be a trusted advisor to HARTING customers and positions itself as the go-to source expert for industrial connectivity solutions. We partner directly with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Distribution partners for standard product, designed-in value-added products, and Product Development initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:
- Develop and implement communication visuals (primarily through PPT presentations) that enable executive leaders to articulate strategic messages to key audiences including HARTING Technology Group Board members and shareholders, various levels of management, and to the broader employee base
- Provide strategic narrative support and lead content development for executive presentations and speeches, ensuring executive partners’ goals are achieved in key settings (including annual International Management Meeting, annual sales kickoff meetings, etc.)
- As bandwidth allows, work alongside the Americas Field Marketing team in Sales Enablement presentation development; collaborating with various cross functional groups including Product Marketing, Product Management, Corporate Communications & Branding, Market Segment Management, and Sales
- Other duties as assigned.
- Travel up to 10%
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in communications, design, marketing, or similar field
- At least 2 years of experience involving corporate communications strategy & execution in a B2B environment
- Expertise in PowerPoint

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:
Compensation
- HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
- Competitive base salary: $60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location)
- This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
- 21 days PTO (Paid Time Off) to start – quickly earn more PTO as you stick with us (36 days max)
