We are seeking a IT Tech to ensure the repair, maintain and improve all aspects of the installed hardware base. Support and train users in the use of the installed equipment as needed.

To succeed in this role, you will be highly driven to:

• Maintains desk stations, peripherals, system backups, and utilities and resolves system problems. Upgrades, monitors and tunes software as directed
• Maintain the Intranet Help Desk functions (responding to logged error calls, charting and analyzing typical error or help situations, fulfilling the time and problem resolution commitments, i.e.: response on logged calls within 1 hour)
• Maintains PC based software, assists in evaluation of new software, and upgrades current software and hardware as directed
• Performs other MIS staffs functions as a backup during an emergency.

Skills And Experience To Thrive In This Role

• Bachelor’s degree or three year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent knowledge of the WINDOWS XX OS environment.
• Excellent knowledge of the MS OFFICE product family.
• Experience setting up PC’s for applications and troubleshooting skills to determine problems in PC’s.

HARTING USA offers an attractive total compensation package and employee benefits, including:

Compensation

• HARTING's Total Compensation Structure includes a Base Salary and Bonus Percentage.
• Competitive base salary: $47,000 - $55,000 (commensurate with experience, subject to change dependent on physical location).
• This role is eligible for a 5% discretionary annual bonus.
