Hartig Drug is seeking a motivated, team oriented, part time Pharmacist to join their winning team in Galena, IL. This position will consult and advise the customers on their medication, both prescription and non-prescription, in a manner that will provide for their total well-being. This role is responsible for ensuring the compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations that pertain to the department.
Essential Job Functions
· Dispense prescription medication to patients
· Provide information about medications and help patients understand the instructions their doctors provide
· Provide information and make recommendations about over-the-counter medications
· Monitor the health and progress of patients in response to drug therapy
· Works well in a team environment
· Portrays the company in a positive image
· Required to abide by all rules, regulations and policies of the employer
Required licenses or certifications
· Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college
