Associate Veterinarian

Hartford Veterinary Hospital is privately owned, newly reopened, and looking for two associate veterinarians to add to our busy and growing 4 doctor companion animal hospital. Work one to five days per week, your choice! We have a position open for daytime emergency and a position in general practice.

We are a veterinarian owned and operated hospital with a focus on quality care for our patients and quality of life for our associates. Tired of feeling like just a number? Staff training or changes, we're on it. New medications, we are happy to try them out. Want to see exotics or perform acupuncture? We will support it!

Part-time and full-time applicants are encouraged to apply. Whether you are looking to work one day per week or five, we can accommodate you. Flexible schedules available. No cap on time off, you want it, you've got it. We welcome all levels of experience, including new graduates. Our medical director has many years of mentorship experience and has served as assistant professor of surgery in a university setting. Our newly renovated practice has been outfitted with all the latest technology, including: digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house Idexx CBC/Chem/Cytology analyzers, ultrasound, tonopen, Behr huggers, cautery, and more! We are able to provide excellent care for our patients and our veterinarians are supported by an exceptional team of technicians and receptionists.
