We are a growing fire protection company seeking a motivated and experienced Alarm Consultant to join our team. This is a part-time position offering a competitive salary of up to $90,000, combining in-office coordination and on-site field responsibilities.
Position Overview
The Alarm Consultant will play a key role in sales, project coordination, and technical support related to fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate holds a valid L6 license, has hands-on alarm installation and repair knowledge, and brings strong sales and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and manage fire alarm system sales opportunities
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope and client needs
- Prepare proposals, estimates, and documentation
- Order parts and manage materials for projects
- Oversee and coordinate projects from start to completion
- Provide technical guidance on alarm installation, service, and repairs
- Maintain strong client relationships through excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations
Qualifications
- Valid L6 License (required)
- Proven sales experience (fire protection or related industry preferred)
- Knowledge of fire alarm installation, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Experience with parts ordering and vendor coordination
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Punctual, organized, and detail-oriented
