POSTING NUMBER: (N168-2526) POSTING DATE: December 4, 2025CLOSING DATE: December 17, 2025 POSITION: Partnerships and Community Schools Manager, Office of Family and Community Partnerships REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships and Fund Development, Office of Family and Community PartnershipsSUPERVISES: Community Schools Integrated Support SpecialistsPOSITION SUMMARY: The Partnerships and Community Schools Manager (PCSM) oversees the strategic implementation of the community school approach across the district and acts as the district liaison between school-based partners within the scope of the district’s Community School model. This role develops systems to integrate student/family support services through cultivating school-community partnerships. The PCSM oversees the Community Schools Integrated Support Specialists and ensures that providers, families, school staff, and district personnel are engaged in coordinating student support services as aligned to student academic needs. The manager works to align resources and initiatives with district wide goals to holistically support student success.RESPONSIBILITIES:● Develop and execute a comprehensive plan to scale the community school model across district schools through a multi-year phase-in process● Ensure fidelity of the community school model by assessing outcomes, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities among all affected parties and providing strategies for strengthening partner engagement and trust● Collect and analyze program data to monitor performance and ensure alignment with goals and intended outcomes● Conduct school site needs/asset assessments to determine priorities for partnership and service integration at each community school; Maintain an understanding of individual school needs to best pair new partners● Develop systems and protocols for identifying and vetting potential external partner organization aligned with district and school priorities to provide on-site services and programming ● Coordinate partnership and resource-sharing agreements between schools, the district, and community providers/organizations to support student and family learning and engagement● Analyze current partnership agreements to assess viability and outcomes to inform future work● Seek input from end users (families and students) to guide decision-making and development of partnership plans● Collect and analyze quantitative/qualitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and alignment to intended student/school outcomes● Support community school leadership teams in facilitating school and neighborhood engagement to collectively impact student learning● Lead quarterly strategy and engagement sessions for new and existing partners to share district priorities and strategies for enhancing student learning outcomes and family support models● Provide project support and management to all individuals, organizations, and funders who support the community school effort● Manage grants aimed at supporting community schools and partnership initiatives by conducting regular reviews of program implementation and expenditures and working collaboratively with district office teams to ensure grants are expended as planned● Outline goals, expectations, and evaluations of Community School Integrated Support Specialists and seek opportunities to build their professional capacity to support student success measures● Build capacity and partnerships as related to community engagement● Develop and track all timelines and deliverables for projects to ensure progress monitoring toward established goals, specifically, providing oversight to schools’ monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting● Spearhead partner recruiting for volunteer and engagement opportunities, as well as oversee the approval and vetting process for all volunteers● Remain knowledgeable of national best practices and innovations related to the community school strategy to inform continuous improvement● Align workstreams to district priorities to effectively implement strategic plan● Perform additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, and ABILITIES of IDEAL CANDIDATE:Bachelor's degree in education, social work, or related field; Master's degree preferredMinimum 3-5 years of community school experience, family engagement, community outreach, program management, or related rolesExcellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, and public speaking abilities Experience managing community school initiatives, integrated student services, or cross-sector partnerships Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to build relationships and credibility among multiple, diverse internal and external partiesProven skills in program design, stakeholder engagement, project management, and contract negotiationStrong data analysis abilities to assess needs, monitor performance metrics, and track goal attainment Knowledge of grant making, writing, and philanthropyAbility to work collaboratively and independentlyStrong people management skills; interest in mentoring and cultivating leadership skills of staffMultilingual abilities (e.g. English/Spanish) highly preferredMust be flexible and work beyond the regular school day and week based on the demands of each projectKnowledge of community school models, youth development frameworks, and family/community engagement strategiesCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: NoneUNION AFFILIATION: Not ApplicableSALARY AND TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: This is a twelve-month position. Salary is commensurate with education level and experience.
