Position:
HMMS is searching for 2 physical education teachers licensed to teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade PE. These positions will work collaboratively and do NOT include the teaching of health.

The successful candidate must be a team player who is ready to think outside the box to meet the unique developmental needs of middle-level learners.
The successful applicant will:
- Hold a Vermont Physical Education Endorsement (3-08 Pk-12);
- Demonstrate knowledge of best practices in physical education curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
- Demonstrate strong understanding of middle level learners and the nature and needs of young adolescents;
- Demonstrate understanding of SHAPE Standards;
- Be open to or have experience with collaborating with team colleagues to create a dynamic learning environment;
- Have strong classroom management skills
- Demonstrate the ability to design and implement creative and inclusive physical activities that engage all students, regardless of skill level, and foster a lifelong interest in physical activity and wellness.
Salary : $47,249 - $99,280
