Shift Detail: Rotating 3 pm-11:30 pm or 4 pm- 12:30 am, every 3rd weekend.

Job Description:
Under the direction of the Supervisor, the lab assistant is responsible for support functions, preanalytical processing, preparing specimens to send to appropriate reference laboratories and accessioning/ registration functions.
Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in a laboratory, medical or other related setting OR any experience or training that supports minimum training for the duties above
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal, written and listening) skills and good leadership abilities.
- Ability to comply with OSHA and applicable regulatory requirements by following established procedures in order to maintain a safe laboratory environment and to meet accreditation standards.
- Ability to be flexible as required to adapt to laboratory needs as related to testing and scheduling.
