Hartford High School (VT) is seeking a passionate, dedicated High School Math Teacher to join our educational community for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful applicant will:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Hold a valid Vermont Mathematics license (2-11 7-12).
- Have teaching experience in 3D Modeling and/or Engineering
- Enthusiastic and student-centered;
- Serve as an Advisor to an assigned cohort of students, cultivating trusting, respectful, and inclusive relationships that serve as the foundational support for student accountability, personal growth, and proactive family partnerships;
- Able to partner with parents, guardians, and administration by maintaining accurate academic records and regularly communicating student progress;
- Knowledgeable in adapting and implementing engaging lesson plans in alignment with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Math;
- Able to utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs to include one-to-one and small group intervention;
- Skilled in fostering a respectful, positive, and inclusive learning environment that responds to students' academic, social, and emotional needs;
- Committed to working closely with department colleagues, special educators, and support staff to ensure student success.
Salary : $47,249 - $99,280
