Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Assistant, located in Hartford, CT. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, assisting with medical procedures, taking medical histories, and recording patient information. The role also includes tasks related to managing medical records, understanding and using medical terminology, and supporting the daily operations of a medical office.
Qualifications
- Skills in Medical Assisting and Patient Care
- Proficiency in Medical Terminology and Medical Office procedures
- Experience with Medical Records management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or diploma from an accredited medical assisting program is a plus
