CNA Job responsibilities:
Provides personal care and housekeeping assistance to our clients in their homes; follows the established plan of care under the direction of the client care coordinator.
Provides personal hygiene and grooming care to our clients
Provides meals for clients' nutritional needs
Reports changes in clients' condition to client care coordinator or supervisor
Performs routine housekeeping and home management duties
Records each client's care on care plan and submits care plan in a timely manner
Responds sensitively to the multiple, complex needs of a terminal client which includes providing end of life care.
Assists with routine therapy exercises
Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or equivalent, preferred
Licensure/Certification: CNA Certificate approved by the Connecticut Department of Public Health and Addiction Services required
Experience: Six months experience as Home Care Aide/CNA in a home care agency, preferred
