Position Details:

• 1st Shift | Monday - Thursday | 5:00am - 3:00pm
• Pay Range: Up to $32.00/Hour (based upon experience, skill set, and shift)

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots and repairs all production machinery including problems in any of the mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Performs all preventive maintenance on machines as scheduled repair or replacement of standard and non-standard parts
• Prepares requisitions or other documentation of parts, supplies, and materials needed
• Communicates problems and repair schedules to the operating department
• Improves equipment safety, quality, and productivity
• Provides building and grounds maintenance as needed
• Performs maintenance on non-production equipment such as forklift trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, mechanical feeds, and tooling
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of maintenance concepts and methods, laws, codes and regulations, equipment parameters, maintenance supplies and safety products
• Maintains an orderly and safe clean work area at all times
• Understands and follows company policies, as well as safety and quality policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Qualifications:

Education: High School / GED

Experience & Skills:

• 2 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
• Experience with a variety of tools and machinery, such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.
• Familiarity with electrical circuits, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), and other automation equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including the ability to use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for logging maintenance activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. 

Experience and/or Training: 
•    2 years of experience in a maintenance role in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
•    Experience with a variety of tools and machinery, such as mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, is highly preferred.
•    Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications
Education: Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field OR certification in a skilled trade or completion of apprenticeship program (up to and including journeyman license status).

Experience and/or Training: 
•    OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
•    Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.
•    Experience with PLC troubleshooting or basic programming.
•    Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
•    Basic computer skills, including familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Physical and Mental Demands
•    While performing the duties of this job, the employee must frequently sit, stand, walk, and use hands to finger, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
•    Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and move between work areas.
•    Regularly required to talk and listen, as well as climb, balance, and reach above shoulder level.
•    Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception.
•    The employee must be able to lift and or carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.
•    Travel: Periodic travel to other plant locations. Occasional domestic travel to attend company-sponsored training programs.

Working Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment where loud noise exposure is regular and frequent. Additionally, there is a regular exposure on the production floor to dust, metal debris, changes in ambient temperature, and requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
