Connecticut Education Center, part of the Positive Regard Network, invites applicants for openings in East Hartford for the following positions
Part Time Teacher of speciality subjects: The Teacher will provide instruction and age/grade appropriate lesson plans in the areas of art, physical education, music or other speciality areas, provide academic leadership in the classroom; will provide clear documentation and data collection, and participate in professional development. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree in special education is preferred. Qualified candidates will have Connecticut teacher licensure (or Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP) eligible). These are part time positions, up to 15 hours per week, with a salary range of $28.00 to $35.00 per hour, based on education/licensure)
Part time positions include accrued Earned Sick Time. Full time positions provide an excellent benefit package, to include 4 school vacation weeks, holidays & snow days; PTO & EST accrual; health/dental insurance and Medical & Dependent Care FSA after 30 days; generous tuition reimbursement policy - paying for up to $6,000 per year in tuition/fees; new Student Loan Assistance policy; paid life & long term disability insurance; voluntary life, accident, cancer, long term care & short term disability insurance through payroll deduction; 401(k) & Roth retirement plan; EAP program; longevity bonus policy.
