Position Overview
Hartford Athletic is seeking a Marketing Coordinator Intern (Academy Focus) to support the Hartford Athletic Youth Academy. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and contribute to exciting youth development initiatives.

Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Help create and manage social media content for Hartford Athletic Youth Academy channels
- Capture photo and video content at academy training sessions, matches, and events
- Assist in designing marketing materials and digital assets for academy programs
- Learn and apply professional sports marketing strategies and best practices
Event & Game Day Support
- Support Hartford Athletic academy events and matchday operations
- Help activate youth engagement initiatives and community events
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of soccer and/or youth sports culture
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube)
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Canva, etc.)
- Photography and/or videography experience preferred
- Access to a high-resolution camera is a plus
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for practices, matches, and events
- Spanish language skills a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions

Location
Based in Windsor, Connecticut with some travel required during the season.
