Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer based in South Georgia or Atlanta, GA. The Sales Engineer will work with clients to identify their needs and provide tailored automation solutions, leveraging a strong understanding of Hartfiel Automation’s product portfolio. Responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, delivering technical presentations, developing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Additional tasks include offering technical assistance, conducting product demonstrations, and staying informed of industry trends to drive strategic sales growth.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Automation, Robotics, and Pneumatic Systems
- Strong Technical Sales, Relationship Management, and Negotiation skills
- Ability to conduct Product Demonstrations, Draft Proposals, and Perform Application Engineering
- Experience in industries such as Agriculture, Food and Beverage, Packaging, or related fields
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, or a related field preferred
- Willingness to work on-site in Atlanta, GA, and travel locally as necessary
- Hands-on experience with technical training, programming, or start-up support is a plus
