Assistant Front of House Manager
Hart's Turkey Farm Restaurant, a third-generation, family-owned and operated restaurant and catering company located in the heart of New Hampshire's beautiful Lakes Region, is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Front of House Manager to join our leadership team. About the Role
We're looking for a positive, energetic, dependable leader who enjoys developing people, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and creating a workplace where employees enjoy coming to work every day.
As our Assistant Manager, you'll work alongside the General Manager to lead daily front-of-house operations while building strong partnerships with our back-of-house team. This is a hands-on leadership role—you'll be on the floor, coaching employees, interacting with guests, solving challenges, and helping ensure every shift runs smoothly.
Success in this position comes from leading with positivity, motivating your team, maintaining high standards, and continually looking for ways to improve both the guest and employee experience.

Qualifications
- Preferred: 3 years of management experience in a full-service restaurant
- Required: Minimum of 3 years serving and/or bartending in a full-service restaurant
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience creating employee schedules
- Experience managing business social media accounts is a plus
- ServSafe Certification, or the ability to obtain certification upon hire
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partner with the General Manager to uphold Hart's standards for hospitality, food safety, service, and guest satisfaction
- Lead daily front-of-house operations and ensure smooth, efficient shifts
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and assist with employee performance management
- Train, mentor, coach, and develop team members for continued success
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture built on accountability and respect
- Create and manage weekly employee schedules
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and turn challenges into positive experiences
- Monitor daily staffing levels and adjust as business demands change
- Assist with maintaining and growing Hart's social media presence
- Become proficient in every front-of-house position to provide hands-on support whenever needed
- Work collaboratively with kitchen leadership to ensure seamless communication and exceptional service
