The Hart-Ransom Union School District is located in an agricultural community just west of Highway 99 in Modesto, CA. The District is made up of a TK-8 elementary school that serves 715 students and a TK-12 charter school that serves 595 students. The Hart-Ransom District has 100 employees, and is one of the highest-paying school districts in Stanislaus County. Requirements / Qualifications

Clean driving record from DMV will be required as a condition of employment. Additional conditions of employment: possess or obtain a California Class B or A commercial driver's license with a passenger endorsement (P) and a DL-45 school bus driver certificate from the CHP.

Comments and Other Information

Total of eight (8) hours: This 2.0-hour bus driver position is directly tied to the concurrently posted 4.0-hour groundskeeper position and 2.0-hour maintenance worker position, for a combined total of eight (8) hours of daily employment. The District intends to hire one candidate for all three of these positions. By applying for one of these positions, the applicant is effectively applying for all three positions, and will be considered for all three positions. Training available for otherwise qualified candidates. DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance will be required as a condition of employment. Drug testing clearance will be required prior to employment and/or behind-the-wheel training. Please note: District is also seeking substitute/on-call bus drivers.
