This is a summer 2026 position
Overall Responsibilities of the Pool Attendant:
- Provide a safe, clean, and fun swimming environment for all.
- Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
- Works well with other team members.
- Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Pool Attendant will:
- Complete the opening, mid-day, and closing duties checklist.
- Maintain the pool area; including vacuuming, washing decks and furniture, and flushing gutters.
- Ensure safety precautions are followed in pool area and identifies possible safety hazards.
- Provide optimal level of services to all Members and guests.
- Oversee the pool side activities.
- Enforce all Resort rules.
- Develop and maintain a friendly relationship with Members and visitors at the pool.
- Maintain pool cleanliness, safety, and guest relationships by walks around the deck and pool.
- Ensure that recreational pool equipment (e.g. balls, floaters, tubes) is available to swimmers when using the facilities.
- Work within the pool system’s closure policy for inclement weather and unsanitary conditions.
