Align lesson plans with Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards and industry requirements
Prepare and test students for industry-recognized credentials (AWS, NCCER, or SP2)
Manage inventory, order consumables (gas, wire, rod) and perform routine maintenance on shop equipment
