Duties
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with attention to safety and quality standards
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs efficiently while explaining the process to customers when appropriate
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform basic repairs and maintenance tasks accurately
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, diagnose problems using automotive diagnostics equipment, and communicate findings clearly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when necessary
Requirements
- Dealership or automotive repair experience preferred; familiarity with automotive service procedures is a plus
- Proven mechanic experience with hands-on knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Experience performing tire service, oil changes, alignments, and basic automotive diagnostics
- Ability to lift heavy tires and vehicle parts safely during service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to learn new skills as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in automotive repair is advantageous
