What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position at Harsha Autism Center?
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy services to individuals, particularly children. Starting pay is $19/hr for fulltime. This position is Monday through Friday and is center based.
✔ Paid training, Harsha pays for the course requirements and testing
✔A day in the life of an RBT: Our Behavior Technicians work one on one with clients on a daily basis, developing skills, collecting data and making a difference in a child and family's life.
✔Qualifications to be a Registered Behavior Technician: A high school diploma or GED are required to enter into our program. We would love someone that has experience in the education field or child development. You will hire on as a Behavior Technician and go through a training and supervision period and will then be required to test to become a Registered Behavior Technician.

Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and principles, including applied behavior analysis is a plus
- Familiarity with patient care practices and assessments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
