Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments, including diagnostic evaluations for clients with neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans based on evidence-based practices in ABA.
- Collect and analyze data meticulously to track client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide clinical supervision to behavior technicians and oversee the delivery of ABA therapy.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and medical professionals to ensure cohesive client care and effective communication.
- Perform patient assessments, manage medical documentation, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client privacy.
- Participate in intake processes, treatment planning meetings, and ongoing client evaluations to support optimal outcomes.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children or individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism spectrum disorders or neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Strong background in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and behavioral psychological assessments.
- Experience conducting functional assessments and functional analyses to identify environmental variables influencing behavior.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and documentation standards required for clinical supervision and patient care.
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, medical documentation procedures, and working within confidentiality guidelines is essential.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
