Job Overview
**MUST BE 19 YRS of AGE or OLDER TO APPLY** We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of the food and beverage industry. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. Must be able to obtain all state required alcohol permits to serve. (If hired we can help you obtain the required licensing).
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Digital Dining POS systems.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed as well as daily shift work.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation standards throughout service.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is advantageous.
- Culinary experience or knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
