The CEO oversees all strategic and operational functions and is expected to bring an established DoD and defense industry network to accelerate growth in the defense sustainment market.
Day-to-Day Operations
- Reviews and provides guidance on contracts and legal commitments; authorized signatory for company paychecks
- Directs personnel management, benefits administration, and recruitment
- Serves as CIO, overseeing IT systems, MSP support, and CMMC/cybersecurity compliance
- Maintains ISO-9001:2015 certification and upholds the company's standards for quality and on-time delivery
Business Development & Marketing
- Leverages an established network across the DoD — Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Army, and Coast Guard — and defense OEMs to identify and win new contracts
- Directs all marketing efforts and oversees proposal management, including pricing and technical responses for government and OEM clients
- Evaluates new business opportunities in defense logistics, technical data, and sustainment programs
Strategic Planning
- Develops and executes long-term strategy in alignment with ConnectM's corporate vision and growth objectives
- Drives expansion within the defense sustainment market, leveraging HKA's 80 year reputation and government relationships
- Collaborates with ConnectM to integrate HKA's logistics datasets with AI and technology capabilities to enable advanced analytics and digital lifecycle solutions
Qualifications
- Senior leadership experience in defense contracting, government technical services, or defense logistics
- Deep, established relationships across the DoD and with major defense OEMs and prime contractors
- Proven track record in government contract capture, proposal development, and revenue growth
- Familiarity with MIL-SPEC technical data standards, logistics product data (LPD), ISO-9001, and CMMC
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing cross-functional teams in a government contracting environment
Compensation
- Salary: Your annual base salary will be $180,000-$200,000.00,
- Annual Equity Grant: Beginning in your first full fiscal year, you will be eligible to receive an annual equity grant valued at approximately $35,000, subject to Board approval, applicable vesting schedules, andthe terms of any equity plan adopted by the Company.
- EBITDA Performance Bonus: In addition to the above, you will be eligible to earn uncapped performance bonuses tied to EBITDA improvement
